Independent Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin to take part in the Geneva Watch Days 2021 exhibition

Unfortunately, 2020 passed without a single major watch exhibition. Exhibitions are extremely important events for an independent watchmaker, offering the chance to communicate with clients, the media, and collectors, to show new releases and existing collections, to share plans and insights, and to feel the pulse of the industry. We are all trying to overcome the difficulties presented to us in connection with the pandemic, organising communication and business through the internet and social media. However, direct, live communication is undoubtedly more interesting, informative, pleasant and productive. With that in mind, Russian independent watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin has this year decided to take advantage of every opportunity that comes up. As of now, the organisers of two watch exhibitions have found the opportunity to return to the tried and tested ‘live’ format, supplemented of course by various opportunities to follow events online. These are the Geneva Watch Days exhibition, which runs from 30th August to 3rd September in Geneva (Switzerland), and Dubai Watch Week, taking place in November in Dubai (UAE).

“The Geneva Watch Days exhibition, first held last year, is a small event when compared with the traditional events taking place two years ago. I liked how everything was organised at Geneva Watch Days 2020, Geneva is one of the capitals of the Swiss – and global – watch industries, and also simply a very pleasant city. Getting the opportunity to be there again seemed like a miracle even just a couple of months ago. I have something to show to my clients, journalists, and connoisseurs of fine watchmaking. I’ll be presenting my “Minotaur” and “Harlequin Ventuno” in Geneva, having had to announce the release of these new additions to the Wristmons collection online. Therefore, visitors to the exhibition will have a great opportunity to hold these watches in their own hands and to share their real-life impressions of these Wristmons with their social media subscribers. I’m also sure you wouldn’t want to miss the chance to see my new Mars watch “Mars Conqueror Mk. 3 Fighter”, of which only eight have been made and all are sold out. In addition, I also have a few aces up my sleeve which I want to share with friends of the brand – secrets of a few of my new projects. Believe me, it will be nteresting!”
