08.02—12.03: the Levitas collection exhibition by Konstantin Chaykin.

We are glad to announce that all watchmaking connoisseurs have a rare opportunity to see all 5 models from Konstantin Chaykin's Levitas collection displayed at the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum.
The Levitas 44, the Levitas Jazz and the Art series' models (the Levitas Sakura, the Levitas Pearl and the Levitas Marina) are considered to be masterpieces of both applied arts and Haute Horlogerie. Their distinctive feature is the mysterious mechanical time indication created and patented by Chaykin: both hour and minute hands are "floating" in the air, driven by a single sapphire disc. The watchmaker has constructed the transparent part of the dial as large as possible in relation to the movement concealed within the case. For the opaque part of the Levitas dials, Chaykin used the ancient technique of Florentine mosaics, using natural stones, inlaid mother-of-pearl, enamel and jewellery micro-sculpture.
The current exhibition, entitled 'Traditions of Easter', is open from February, 8th to March, 12th, 2023. Tickets are available for purchase on the museum website.
