Dear friends! We invite everyone who loves haute horlogerie and high jewelry to the upcoming exhibition “Lucomorye. Masterpieces of Russian Masters”, which will be presented at the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia from March 24 to May 22. The main focus of the exposition, organized by Konstantin Chaykin in collaboration with the famous jeweler Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, will be the work of haute horlogerie and a jewelry masterpiece - the Lucomorye table clock. This clock is the result of a five-year collaborative work of Chaykin and Fazulzyanov, as well as a team of the most talented Russian masters. The Lucomorye is full of the enchanting spirit of the famous Pushkin's fairytale titled "Ruslan and Lyudmila". All Russian-speaking people remember its plot from the early years of childhood. Everything that awakens one's imagination has found its place in this remarkable clock: the Oak tree with a golden chain, the learned Cat, the Mermaid, heroes living in the sea, and the main character - Ruslan with his enemy, the villainous Chernomor.
Konstantin Chaykin has turned the learned Cat who wanders along the golden chain into a unique device featuring a chain graphic digital hour indication function. This is a phenomenal mechanism in the history of watchmaking, invented by the Russian master. This device has been assembled from nearly all 1119 parts that form the extremely complicated Lucomorye movement. The clock decor was designed by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, whose magnificent jewelry and enamel artworks are extremely popular in the world of jewelry. Apart from the Lucomorye clock, Konstantin Chaykin is planning to present sixteen pieces of haute horlogerie to the audience. Meet the unique Computus Easter (the most complicated table clock in Russia), the Clown wristmon (winner of the Audacity Prize (Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève 2018)), and a watch created especially for Mars conquerors. This particular watch features a Martian time indication function.
