Joker Titanium

The choice of titanium for the Joker Titanium Limited Edition was not accidental. The use of this metal in aviation, marine and aerospace technology has always brought clear advantages. In watchmaking, titanium is used as a lighter alternative to stainless steel. It is slightly darker than steel and is seen as technical, even brutal, rather than decorative. To produce the titanium parts of the Joker Titanium case, Konstantin Chaykin has developed a special technology that allows the high standards of workmanship of the steel versions of the original Joker watch to be maintained in the titanium version.

The letter “J” is engraved in the center of the titanium caseback, while the unique serial number of the timepiece, which was produced in a limited edition of 88 pieces, is engraved on the edge.

Especially for the Joker and other models of the Wristmons collection Konstantin Chaykin developed a double-disc display for the hour and minute indications, as well as a moonphase indicator. In the construction and design of the movement, he was guided by the principles of haute horlogerie, despite the fact that the movement is hidden under an opaque dial. Konstantin Chaykin meticulously finished every part of the movement using classic techniques: perlage; fine longitudinal and circular grinding; sandblasting; hand-polished chamfers; engravings; polished screw, pin and jewel recesses; ball polishing of the pivots; and rhodium plating. In total the module includes 8 jewels, designed to reduce friction, while the moonphase indicator is driven by a wheel with 59 teeth.
