Konstantin Chaykin will, like in previous years, take part in one of the key events of the watchmaking world, the Dubai Watch Week (DWW). First conducted in 2015, this international forum is convened every two years. The 2023 biennale will take place from November 16 to November 20. At this year’s DWW 56 participants, including leading brands and independent watchmakers, will present their bestsellers and exciting new timepieces.
The event will be held at The Gate, a pavilion of 100 thousand square meters, located at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), the very heart of business activity of the Middle East. The Gate is a crucial location for the meeting of guests from all over the world – brand representatives, independent watchmakers, experts, and journalists. The DWW traditionally hosts many exciting events, such as presentations, lectures, masterclasses, and panels with watchmaking masters.
Konstantin Chaykin will showcase two pieces from his Wristmons collection to the DWW, Joker Five and Minions Titanium (the original Minions watch was first revealed in Dubai as well, two years ago at the DWW-2021). The Joker Five was released to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Wristmons collection, which has since expanded even more with a host of impressive new models.
The guests of the biennale will also have a chance to see some of the watches from Chaykin’s classic collection: the Hijra with an in-built Islamic calendar, the “mysterious” Levitas, and the Cinema, equipped with a miniature movie projector.
