From November 8 to November 28 the Eurus Gallery will host its debut exhibition “WE ARE ART. Who is John Goldsmith”. The exhibition will include the Clown 2 Audacity watch and several of Konstantin Chaykin’s design sketches.
Eurus Gallery is the first contemporary jewellery art gallery in Asia. John Goldsmith of the exhibition’s title is a wordplay. John Smith is a traditional generic, anonymous pseudonym, and goldsmith is, of course, a jeweller, someone who works with gold. So, who is John Goldsmith? “Come see, — says the Eurus Gallery exhibition to its guest, — and remember these names. The names that define the contemporary scene and the future of the art of jewellery”.
