Spaceships capable to deliver humankind to Mars are still being developed, but the watches invented by Konstantin Chaykin for the conquerors of Mars are already ticking.
He decided to make new “Mars Conqueror Mk3 Fighter” watch from titanium, traditionally perceived as an aircraft and space material.
The hands of the dial provide a synchronized indication of Martian and terrestrial time. Konstantin Chaykin proposes that as a symbol of unity and a nostalgic affection to the home planet, the feelings mankind will maintain of the future, after the conquest of Mars, other planets and star systems.

There is something special about watching the clock build. This is not just a mechanical process, but a real art, where the painstaking work of the master is combined with the precision of engineering thought. Assembling a watch is something that can fascinate, inspire, and give a sense of wonder.
СASE BACK
In the Mars Conqueror Mark 3 Fighter watch, Konstantin Chaykin decided not to use traditionally designed hands and instead invented his own “Martian” hands. In his work, he was guided by the requirements for the hands of watches of the militaristic genre: the hands should be large, clearly visible on the dial, marked with a luminescent composition.
The conquerors of Mars will head to the red planet in heavy launch vehicles, so Konstantin decided to give the shooters the characteristic shape of such a rocket, calling them Starship shooters. The Earth time hands are marked with a greenish-blue phosphor, and the Martian time hands are marked with orange.
MOVEMENT
Konstantin Chaykin had developed for “Mars Conqueror Mk3 Fighter” watch special module with a synchronized indication of the current time both on Mars and on Earth, including the indication of second time zone. The design and finish of the module were produced according to strict rules of High Watchmaking, despite it is hidden under the dial. Konstantin Chaykin provides meticulous finishing of every part of the module using classic techniques of traditional watchmaking: perlage, fine linear finish, circular graining, sandblasting, contour grinding, hand chamfering and polishing, engraving, polishing of screw heads and countersinks, spherical polishing of pivots, rhodium coating. The module has 8 jewels to reduce friction.

All development stages have been successfully completed, and Konstantin Chaykin is proud to present the first model of his “Mars Conqueror” collection available for orders. That is the first-ever Martian aviator watch. The “Mars Conqueror Mk3 Fighter” watch looks to the future, which is why one can find in its design the futuristic forms of the Martian space fleet as imagined and designed by Konstantin Chaykin. In the brutal yet at the same time ergonomic case of a dynamic, trapezoidal design, which is dominated by triangular edges, there is a bezel fixed to the case by 24 functional screws, resembling the mooring lock of a spacecraft docking system.
